How do I use Peekaboo’s Assistant?
By Vishva Variya · Updated
Short answer
Press ⌥⇧⌘A, say what you want (“find invoices from last month and zip them”, “tidy my Desktop”, “why is my disk full?”) and read the plan. It lists every step and file, and nothing changes until you press Run. It runs on Apple’s on-device model, so nothing leaves your Mac.
Steps
- 1Open the Assistant.⌥⇧⌘A
- 2Type what you want in plain words, and read the plan it drafts.
- 3Press Run. Moves to the Trash ask once more first.
- 4Undo any step from Activity.⇧⌘Y
- Needs macOS 26 or later on a Mac with Apple Intelligence turned on. Elsewhere the page isn’t there, and the plain-English search does most finding jobs.
- It can move, rename, bulk rename, make folders, organize, zip, move to the Trash, set up a Routine or Clean Safe Items.
- It reads file names, sizes and the app’s own summaries, never keys or passwords, and never deletes permanently.
- From Quick Search, ⇧↩ hands it whatever you typed.

How do I contact support?
- Email support@getpeekaboo.app. It goes straight to the developer. Settings › License › Copy Support Info adds your app and macOS version, with the license key hidden.
