Who we are
Peekaboo is made by Vishva Variya (“we”). Questions about these terms go to support@getpeekaboo.app. By downloading, using or buying Peekaboo you agree to these terms.
Free trial
You can use every feature free for 14 days, with no account and no card. After that, a license is needed to keep using Peekaboo.
Buying a license
Licenses are sold by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, so your purchase is also covered by Dodo’s buyer terms, and Dodo handles payment, tax and invoices. A license costs $24.99, plus any sales tax or VAT where you live; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription.
Your license
- A license lets one person use Peekaboo on one Mac at a time, for personal or work use, with no end date.
- You can move it to another Mac by deactivating it on the old one in Settings, then activating it on the new one.
- Updates to Peekaboo are included.
- Don’t share, resell or publish your license key, or try to get around the license check. We may turn off a key that is shared, bought fraudulently or refunded.
- Peekaboo itself stays ours: you get a license to use it, not ownership of it. Don’t copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Refunds
You can get a full refund within 7 days of buying, no questions asked. See the refund policy.
Your files
Peekaboo moves files to the Trash and records every cleanup so it can be undone, and anything it can’t trash is removed only if you turn on permanent removal. Still, you decide what to clean up, so keep backups of anything that matters (Time Machine is enough).
No warranty
We work hard to make Peekaboo reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for your license. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live that can’t be limited by agreement.
Privacy
How Peekaboo and this site handle data is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms, for example when the app gains new features; the date at the top changes with them. A change never takes away a license you already bought.
