Does Peekaboo need Full Disk Access?
By Vishva Variya · Updated
Short answer
No. Without it, Peekaboo reads Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Movies, Music and Applications through Spotlight, after macOS asks you to allow access to each. Full Disk Access is optional: it lets Peekaboo include every folder.
Steps
- 1Open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Full Disk Access.
- 2Turn on Peekaboo. If it isn’t listed, click +, choose Peekaboo in Applications and turn it on.
- 3Quit and reopen Peekaboo. Settings › Library › Full Disk Access shows whether it’s on.
