Sensei alternative: Peekaboo vs Sensei
By Vishva Variya · Updated
Sensei, from Cindori, is the closest thing to Peekaboo’s mix of jobs: it monitors CPU, GPU, battery health and storage live, cleans system junk and old caches, uninstalls apps with their leftovers, and adds a disk benchmark and SSD Trim. It’s $29 a year or $59 once for up to three Macs. Peekaboo overlaps on health and cleanup, and comes at it from the file side.

Why pick Peekaboo over Sensei?
A score with the reason
Mac Health (⌥⇧⌘H) scores your Mac 0–100 in fixed bands and names each reason it isn’t 100, with a button to the fix. A week of readings stays on your Mac so you can see when things changed.
Duplicates and a disk map
Exact copies by SHA-256, look-alike photos by Vision, and a clickable Space Map of what fills the disk, none of which Sensei lists.
Every cleanup can come back
Peekaboo sends files to the Trash as one recorded cleanup and puts them back in one click. App Caches explains each folder and marks the ones with side effects as Check First.

The honest verdict
If you want GPU graphs, a disk benchmark and SSD Trim alongside cleanup, Sensei covers more of the hardware side, and its one licence covers three Macs. If you’d rather have a health score that tells you what to do, duplicates and a map of your files, and an undo for every cleanup, Peekaboo is the better fit.
